Welcome to Gone To The Dogs, for dogs that are going places...
When you decided to add a dog to your family, you had a picture in your mind of all the fun and enjoyment you were going to have with your new pup.
Sometimes, things go pretty well and you get to enjoy that perfect image you saw in your mind. Sometimes, things are not so much fun and your dreams start to resemble a classic cartoon or worse, some type of horror nightmare, where you are too scared to take your dog anywhere or have guests over to your home –don’t worry, you are not alone.
We have all been in your shoes at some stage and I can assure you, it does get better. Life experience has been the best teacher for me and I know there are some simple things you can do that will help both you and your dog start to enjoy your lives together.
I know you are a good dog owner because you are looking for ways to improve your relationship with your dog. Let me help you teach your dog to be ‘a dog that is going places’.
Individual one on one sessions and homework to follow up through the week!
Did you know that what your puppy learns in the first few months has a permanent effect on how they turn out as an adult dog? Let's get it right with the Puppy Kindergarten programme. Build those basic skills. Sleep easy at night knowing that your puppy isn't destroying your carpet or belongings. Solve common issues like jumping and biting. And importantly, socialise your puppy the correct way so that you can shape them into a well mannered and confident dog.
This programme is designed for puppies from 3 months to 6 months of age.
Puppies must have completed their vaccination programmes and you must produce your veterinary record book to prove this.
Personalised one on one sessions and homework to follow up through the week.
Just think how great it would be for you to be able to take your dog with you to the park, the beach or any where dogs are allowed to go and know that it will walk nicely next to you. How would it feel to have your dog focus on you and do what you tell it to do? Wouldn't be great if it could walk past other dogs and people and not drag you over to them for a meet and greet? Learn how to teach your dog to come when it is called, stay when you ask it to and sit nicely to greet visitors.
Thank you so much for reaching out to talk about the problems you are having with your wonderful dog!!
